Erica Sachiyo Deahl

I’m Erica.

I believe in design as a tool for social change and seek opportunities to work on things that make people’s lives better. As a designer, I always begin with people, striving to understand diverse needs and behaviors, and to design solutions that are both accessible and elegant.

Over the past 10 years, I have worked across product and service design, UX research, visual design, and design leadership.

I’m currently a principal designer at Khan Academy.

Recent work

My recent work includes leading the Get Out the Vote design effort on Hillary Clinton’s campaign and helping build a better immigration process and a design system for federal government at 18F.
